Education / Experience
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Saint Louis University,
after which I taught third grade for five years at Gateway Academy. I went on to teach first
grade for four years and second grade for one year at Avery Elementary School. After taking
time off to be home with my children, I returned to the classroom at Assumption School. I
taught in the PSR program for a year, and I spent three years as a classroom aide and
substitute teacher. I am currently teaching art, and I’m thrilled to be able to share my love of
the arts with the students in grades K-8.

Personal
I have been married to my husband since 2002, and we have six children ranging from grade
school through college age. Two of our children are Assumption graduates, and two currently
attend Assumption. I enjoy baking, crafting, listening to classical music, and spending time
with my family.
